Among the largest enterprises operating in Croatia, several well-known Austrian names are making their mark. Companies such as Spar, Erste & Steiermärkische Bank, Raiffeisenbank, and XXXLutz rank among the top 100 businesses in the country. This strong presence underscores Austria’s position as the second-largest investor in Croatia, surpassing even Germany in investment volume. The only country investing more in Croatia is the Netherlands.
